Returns & Refunds

At Sonara, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If you would like to return an eligible product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in its original condition, with all tags and original packaging intact.

Sarees that have been altered, fall/pico stitched, customized, damaged after delivery, or have had the blouse piece cut or separated are not eligible for return.

Products specifically marked as Final Sale / Non-Returnable on the product page are not eligible for return, except where the product received is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Damaged or incorrect products

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible with your order details and clear photographs of the product and packaging. Once verified, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund at no additional shipping cost to you.

Return shipping

For returns due to a change of mind or preference, return shipping charges will be borne by the customer. If the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied by Sonara, we will bear the applicable return shipping charges.

Please contact us before sending any product back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. The time taken for the amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Original shipping charges, where applicable, are non-refundable for returns made due to customer preference.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before they have been shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will be handled according to the return policy above.

Natural variations in handloom products

Many Sonara products are handcrafted or handwoven. Minor variations in weave, texture, colour, pattern or finish are characteristic of handcrafted textiles and are not necessarily defects. Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.
